Nick and Sydney awaken after a night of “rest” on their honeymoon cruise to discover that the crew and passengers aren’t as lively as they were the day before. In fact, they’re downright dead…and very hungry.

The Newest Model

I saw a commercial where a woman asked her cell phone’s AI to interpret her dream about having spaghetti fingers. It seems that it is much safer to be vulnerable with your phone than your best friend or even your spouse – no judgment, no jealousy, no anger – AI as our closest confidant. How long will it be before the human race enjoys the company of virtual people more than the real thing?

The Newest Model is a five part series inspired by the fact that, wherever I look, people are more interested in their phones than anything or anyone else around them.
